He Made It!

Palmer arrived in the Dominican Republic around 3:00 their time yesterday.  I received the following email from him:

Hey so we got to the MTC in Santo Domingo at about 3. It's crazy humid, never could've imagined heat like this. My companion is a guy from the Bahamas named Elder Beach, haven't actually met him yet though. I got my tags and my room. The flight to Santo Domingo was interesting. I sat next to this Dominican couple who didn't speak any English at all. But all the flights went as planned, and I got my bags just fine. Everything just went pretty smoothly and as planned. Well I got whole six more hours planned of fun stuff here at the MTC. Talk to you again on Monday!

You can also use the pouch system through Salt Lake.  To do this you need to follow these instructions exactly:

Lay the letter blank side down.  Fold the bottom of the letter about one-thrid of the way up the page and crease.  Fold the top of the letter to the bottom of the first fold and crease.  Secure the long side with two pieces of tape about one inch in from each end, but do not seal the ends.  Write your name and complete return address int he top left corner.  Affix first class postage in the top right corner.  In the middle, write the missionary address.
