The Work of Art by Mimi Matthews

Regency Romance. I admit I have a weakness for these types of romance books. They seem to be a comfort type food for me because I can read them in an evening and be amused by everyone's antics. This is a case of a man marrying a woman to free her from the grasp of a cruel man. Of course the marriage ends up being a match made in heaven!

Recommend: Yes, if you have a free evening.

Elder Edholm -- home week 1

I'm home! Just like everyone else, I feel like I'm the last one! I honestly wasn't expecting to leave Bolivia because it wasn't that bad there, so when we were put into quarantine and then a couple days later were informed that all foreign missionaries had to go home, I was actually pretty sad. I was in a house with another set of elders, and they both had 20 months in the mission, so it was even harder on them. I'm super glad I get to go out again sometime and serve the rest of my mission, even though I don't know where. But it is also awesome to see my family again and spend a ton of time with them! And I got back right in time to see general conference, which I wouldn't have been able to see if I didn't fly the day we did, so that is a huge miracle!

Elder Edholm -- home week 0

After 36 hours of travel Andrew arrived at an empty Casper airport last night, one of only around 10 people on the flight. He said the other flights were similar, not a lot of people.  It was wonderful to see him and hear his increased testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's only been 8 months, but he is a changed person.

Here are some pictures from the mission president's wife as the missionaries were prepping to leave Bolivia. The flight was delayed hours and by the time they landed in Miami it was past midnight.

Here is a link to the missionaries singing at the airport. Andy is on the left in a gray suit in the middle section:

And now that he's home, here he is playing his favorite song:

He was released as a missionary last night over the phone by our Stake President. He will spend the next 14 days quarantined in our home and then hopefully be temporarily assigned to somewhere in the states. His hope is to be able to go back to Bolivia when it's open again. In the meantime he is practicing his Spanish with us todos los dias!
