This
week started out not the greatest, as one of our friends who was
supposed to get baptised on the 26, texted us and told us that he didn't
want to anymore and that he was too old to change, it broke our hearts!
In District Meeting, we went over President Donaldson's letter and it
was all about Elder Pace of the seventies talk in 1992, October
Conference. It was really good. One of our zone leaders was in with us
and talked about it and said, we need to let our investigators make
their own choices, because sometimes, we want to wrap them up in bubble
wrap, so that nothing happens to them, but that doesn't help them learn.
I though that that was so inspired, we do need to make sure that they
are making their own mistakes and someday our friend will be baptised
and receive that ultimate happiness for himself!
We
had a pretty good week, considering though! We were able to see some of
our friends that we haven't in awhile. I truly love the people here,
even if I am just talking to them for 2 seconds, I know that this work
is of God, and I feel as the people in Mosiah 28:3 feel! I want everyone
to hear about this wonderful gospel and the happiness that it can bring
to them.
We
had the great opportunity on Saturday to see the Nashville tribute band
perform, it was broadcasted to us in Ireland, because it was live in
Edinburgh. It was so cool!
Love you all, have a great week!

Emma mentioned she has just reached her 6 month mark and it seems like she's only been there for 2 seconds!
