We've been working hard to spread the word, the scriptures have really been able to help those that we have visited. It's cool how something written so long ago is so applicable to us today.
I'm excited to say that two people we have been visiting expressed to us that they want to be baptized! It's a mom and her son, Victoria and Nefi. They are from Guatemala and are extremely nice. Victoria always says, "God first", every time we see her. Everything becomes a little easier when we do that, when we put God first.
I was reading in Alma this last week and I found this verse. Chapter 58 verse 37.
"...we trust God will deliver us, notwithstanding the weakness of our armies"
I was thinking of the kid favorite Bible story of David and Goliath, and how it depicts this verse well. I know that we all have mountains to climb, and they may seem overwhelming, but "If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31.
