Last week went really well, we were able to talk to a lot more people because it's gotten a lot warmer, because of that we set up lots of times to pass by for those people this week, so we should be able to have a lot of teaching opportunities. We found a new person to teach just the other day, her name is Victoria, she is really nice and loves the scriptures, she really wants her little grandson to grow up learning about Jesus Christ. It's awesome to see how impactful Christ is in our lives and in the lives of the people around us.
I've been thinking about the story of the young ruler in Luke 18. In verse 18 it starts off with this ruler asking Jesus a question, "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?". Christ responds with, "thou knowest the commandments", and he names off a couple. The young ruler replies that he has kept all these commandments, so the Lord says, "sell all that thou hast... and come, follow me". I have been thinking about what things I need to let go or give up to follow the Savior better. I think it goes hand in hand with what President Nelson talked about last month, what mountains do we need to move in our lives to become better disciples of Christ. I hope all of you think and pray about what you need to remove in your lives.
