So
just for the update Sonia and Albert passed there interview and are
going to get baptized this Saturday! They're awesome! Our Zone Leader
was pretty impressed about her. About how much she knew, her testimony,
and everything. It's always great when you teach how the spirit tells
you to and you baptize converts. I guess I can't give myself any credit
because without the Holy Ghost I would just be wasting my time out here.
Another thing I've noticed is that the rules on the mission aren't just
a list of things you can and can't do, but there ways to invite us to
live our lives so that the spirit can always be with us.
But
I'm really hoping and praying that the move goes well for you guys, and
that you find a place to live. It reminds me a lot of the story of the
brother of Jared. How they had no clue where they were going. All they
knew is that they were supposed to build ships and then cross the ocean
having faith that God would guide them to the promised land. So I just
hope everything goes great.
But
to answer mom's questions, yes my companion goes home next wednesday,
and I get transfer calls this Saturday. I will be staying without a
doubt, I couldn't imagine them leaving this area, that was previously
two branches, to two people.
Besides
that, everything is going normal. We have been having fun finding new
people, which I have come to like a lot more. Although it's always a
little bit uncomfortable it's cool to meet so many people and share the
message we have with them. Like this one couple we just recently met.
She shared how she was afraid about dying because she didn't think she
would ever see her husband or her kid again. It was cool sharing temple
marriage with her talking about how they could be sealed to be together
forever, until she asked if her husband could get sealed again if she
died, and then that just brought up a huge frustrating conversation, but
I think she got the just of it.
Love you guys!
