- There are three sets of missionaries in the ward he is serving in.
- There are so many dogs and chickens in the roads
- The dogs bite. His companion has been bitten four times in a year. No bites for Andrew yet!
- They live in a house and pay a woman to cook lunch for them each day. He eats lots of rice and chicken and vegetables.
- Andrew buys Ramen at the store to eat for dinner nearly every day and the people there tell him not to eat it because it will kill him!
- He has running water and electricity and his house does not have dirt floors.
- He misses his family and everyone, but is very positive about the work.
- He says his Spanish is very bad!
- Even though it's Spring there it's very hot and he is always sticky.
- They are teaching and working with some good people, but it's difficult to get them to commit to come to church.
